Calling next year's kindergartners!

Online enrollment is open for 2018-19 kindergartners (Class of 2031, can you believe it?). Any child who will be five years old before Sept. 1, 2018 is eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall. To enroll, parents will need proof of their child's birth date (such as a birth certificate) and a signed and completed Washington state Certificate of Immunization Status form.

Have your requirement documents ready and enroll online now so that you and your child can attend our kindergarten orientation in the spring.

7 Habits of Highly Effective People

You may have also heard your child mention the "Habits" they are learning at Captain Strong Primary. These are intended to create a common language within the school, built on proven principle-based leadership skills found in Dr. Stephen R. Covey's book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People".

    Habit 1: Be Proactive® You’re in Charge

Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind® • Have a Plan

Habit 3: Put First Things First® • Work First, Then Play

Habit 4: Think Win-Win® • Everyone Can Win

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood® • Listen Before                     You Talk

    Habit 6: Synergize® • Together Is Better

Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw® • Balance Feels Best

Additionally, our Administrators, Teachers, Specialists and Support Staff are dedicated to helping our students learn our "Expectations for Everywhere, All the Time" referred to as L.E.A.D

L.E.A.D stands for:

    Learn Responsibility

    Exhibit Respect

    Always be Safe

    Do your Best

Ask your Captain Strong Primary student what it means to L.E.A.D!
