News to know
Attend an upcoming listening session
Join district leaders and school board members for a discussion about planning for the financial future of BGPS schools, including budget priorities and future educational programs and operations levies. Financial stability is critical to bringing change to the district and preparing students for their future.
📅Wednesday, June 17, 2026
⌚6 p.m.
📍Battle Ground High School media center (300 W. Main St., Battle Ground)
This event is open to the public and everyone is welcome. No RSVP is required. Child care will be available for children over the age of 1 (must be bathroom trained).
Due to the format of the session, it will not be recorded. However, a summary will be available afterward on the district website.
Report cards
Second semester report cards and individualized education program progress reports (if applicable) will be available to view in Skyward by June 17. Please watch for an email with instructions on accessing your child’s information.
Individual state test results
State test results are now available for most students who took state assessments in spring 2026. Students in grades 3-8 and 10 took English language arts and math assessments. You can view your child’s score by logging into Skyward. Get step-by-step instructions on finding your child’s score. Science scores will be available in August.
Athletic program updates for the 2026-27 school year
Because the district does not receive any state funding that is specifically designated for athletics, some athletic programs may be affected by the loss of levy funding. The impacted sports have a cost to rent or access facilities that the district does not own. These sports include boys and girls golf, gymnastics, boys and girls swimming and bowling. Learn more about the participation and donation needs for the district to offer these sports next year.
Summer hours
Primary and middle school offices will be closed to the public after June 18. High school offices will be closed to the public after June 25. All school offices will reopen with limited hours starting Wednesday, Aug. 5. Visit the school and district hours webpage for details.
The district office will be closed to the public June 29 through July 24. It will be open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., from July 27 through Aug. 14, returning to regular hours on Monday, Aug. 17.
The Family and Community Resource Center will be closed June 11 through Aug. 31. It will reopen on Sept. 1.

Please take a moment to look through the end-of-year checklist and information about the 2026-27 school year. Additional information will be provided over the summer as it becomes available.
