Time Capsule Update:
In May we were able to uncover a Time Capsule that was buried by Captain Strong students in the year 2000!
It was a fun time to connect with the Teacher in charge at the time Carla Nalley as well as a few students who participated that are all grown up :)
Please enjoy these photos below of a few items that were salvaged/ cleaned up on display near the main office.

Today is Open House/ Back to School Night & we can't wait to see you all!
4:30p-6p all grades are invited to attend but keep in mind their is a separate *Kindergarten Only* Open House for Thursday 8/28
While our students have been away Mrs. Sturbelle has been decorating the halls with your smiley face artwork from May. You guys are going to love it, it looks so fun!

8-12 open
12-2 closed
2-6 open (we will be here for any questions you may have)
There will also be representatives from PTA, the Right @ School program & Transportation/Bussing

Way to go Cougars on raising money for this year's Kids Heart Challenge!
Please enjoy a few pictures from the movie-themed sliming assembly. Students who raised the most money were able to "slime" the Principals & Ms. Edwards with things like nacho cheese, popcorn, candy & soda!
